You were smart, fast, golden yellow, and so very beautiful, and you became the leader of our four puppy Chihuahua "pack". Now you're gone. You left us this Christmas day because your eyesight had failed you, and worst of all, we failed you. We didn't see you'd gotten to the edge of pool, and while we ate dinner, you succumbed to the water... without even a sound, and I couldn't bring you back. Now, only your brother Gizmo is left, and he misses you as much as we do. We hope that you will forgive us. We loved you more than anyone will ever know, beautiful boy. Carmelita was one of the most precious chihuahua's. She loved people and they loved her. I was blessed to have her in my life for almost 9 years, and what a blessing it was to see how her little presence blessed others. I am so proud to have been her human. I miss her terribly.
